“I want to thank GreenAcres Colney for their brilliant service. My husband was terminally ill, and they enabled him to visit the site to decide where he would like his ashes to go, so he had the peace of knowing where he would be after his death. The way we were treated was perfect, the staff seemed to know just how to deal with us, and the actual service was lovely. It was awful to lose my husband and my Son’s daddy, but the service from Colney made it all much easier to cope with and to feel peaceful about.”
“My father-in-law passed away very suddenly just before Christmas, and suddenly the family were faced with a number of decisions to make, one of which was where the burial was to take place. David loved nature, the outdoors, flowers and birds, so we took a look at Colney Park (never even knew these places existed before).
We took a drive to Colney to take a look at the grounds, and the location was beautiful, very serene, and bizarrely for me it was a place that felt happy and felt pleasant to be.
This is a place I will visit often with my family, and indeed there were many families while I was there, unlike a cemetery, they were smiling, laughing, sharing stories, and generally a lovely feeling about the place. In summary – Colney Park is a beautiful place, has a lovely feeling about it – and my advice is….If you are in doubt – go and visit the place, I am sure you will love it, as will those you are laying to rest.”
“It was such a perfect experience. I can’t begin to explain how wonderful it was, from our very first visit which was a guided walk, and amazingly, included a buggy for my dear belated Husband Paul’s parents, to the then so thoughtful and caring meeting to discuss arrangements for Paul’s Special Day as our family preferred to call it. During our above-mentioned walk we found the perfect resting place for Paul, in the middle of four perfectly beautiful trees, which we all, including the wonderful staff at GreenAcres always then referred to as Paul’s ‘four-poster bed’ which proves just how perfectly wonderful they all are.”
